SUMMER INTERNSHIP

Space Education and Employement

Undergraduate and postgraduate students and research scholars enrolled in recognized universities or institutions in India and abroad can apply for the BSERC Internship. Participants will work closely with various verticals, divisions, and cells of Space and receive training in Drone Technology (Air Taxi), CanSat and CubeSat (Student Satellite), Space Entrepreneurship, and Astronomy. The Role of Portable Planetariums in Space Science Education for Grades 1–5. Portable planetariums are innovative tools designed to bring the wonders of space science directly to classrooms. These inflatable domes equipped with advanced projection systems transform indoor spaces into immersive environments, allowing young learners to explore astronomy in an engaging and interactive way.

Technology for Faculty & Students : Advancing Space Science and Technology These workshops aim to inspire students (Grade 6 onwards) and faculty by providing hands-on experiences and theoretical knowledge in cutting-edge space science and technology fields. Students Development Programme

Student Development Programme in Space Science, Computing, and Technology This program is designed to equip students with essential knowledge and skills in space science, computing, and advanced technology, fostering innovation and curiosity. Hands-On Projects: Participate in building model rockets, programming drones, or designing small satellites.

The Gaganyaan Program

The Indian Human Spaceflight program (or the Gaganyaan program) is an ongoing programme by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to develop the technology needed to launch crewed orbital spacecraft into low Earth orbit.
If completed successfully, India will become the fourth nation to conduct independent human spaceflight after the Soviet Union/Russia, United States, and China. After conducting the first crewed spaceflights, the agency intends to start a space station programme, crewed lunar landings, and crewed interplanetary missions in the long term.
